Sometimes hindsight is at least 20/20.
Today I’m reviewing a document I created several years ago. A document which outlined ministry values and team expectations. At the time, I thought it was complete – sufficient – a document which could help focus me and inspire the team. After all it had Bible verses in it. Wasn’t that enough?
But something was missing…
Here was a document for a team and “Team” wasn’t even outlined as a value!
Silly me. But I’m glad I’m revisiting my previous work because now I can refine my “wisdom” so that it is a little more in line with how I want to live out my leadership.
